MOPS Christmas Party

Our last MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meeting of the fall semester was a Tacky Christmas Sweater and Ornament Exchange Party. Some ladies at the church where we meet prepared the delicious food for us. The steering committee members each decorated a table with their own decorations which was so fun and festive! The table pictured below was so cute! I forgot to take a picture of my table so this one will have to serve as an example. :)

We played the cutest game after dinner. We drew a room decorated for Christmas (complete with a tree, ornaments, presents, fireplace, and stockings) on a paper plate on our heads. Some of the moms were surprisingly good at this. Mine was just a bunch of jumbled up squiggly lines.

Sarah was one of the talented artists.

Here's a "good" picture. See the tree and the star floating above it? And the present off to the side and the mantel with a stocking hung?

Here's mine. I think I see a star and that's about it. :)

The games were fun and the fellowship of the other mommas was great! One of our mentors shared her testimony during the evening too.

This is my second year involved with MOPS and it has been such a great experience. I am thankful for the friendships I've made and for the community of moms to share motherhood experiences with!
