Her favorite activities these days are playing with Winston (he's the first thing she asks for in the morning), walking around outside (always visiting with our neighbors), riding in her car and playing chase with daddy around the house. Reading books, playing with puzzles or anything that requires her to sit still for more than 30 seconds is not on her agenda!
Walking Winston while driving her car.
Looking for our neighbor Mary.
Eliza is saying new words/sounds every day. Just this week she FINALLY started babbling mom-momma! That sweet sound just melts my heart. :) She loves her animal sounds-- especially woof-woof, oink-oink, moo, quack-quack and roar! Da-da-da is still her most frequently spoken word.
Eliza is a great eater and sleeper. She usually goes to bed around 6:45 and sleeps till 6:45/7 in the morning. She still takes two naps but they are both getting shorter-- her morning nap is around 9 and the afternoon one is around 1:30-2. They usually last about 1-1.5 hours. We will stick with two naps as long as she needs it, though I'm guessing we will transition to one nap in the next few months.
I know I could say this every month but in some ways it's hard to believe our daughter is already 14 months old and then other times I can't imagine what life was like before having her! I'm really going to soak up these next few months of Eliza being our only child and continue learning about our sweet and spunky little one!
